Morning has arisen over the crystal beach that is Emerald Coast, for even the watery ocean sparkled like it was filled with diamonds. The morning light shined over the classy hotel, Emerald Coast Hotel, over the swimming pool and giving it the same treatment as the ocean. And there is where Sally Acorn approaches, walking out the sliding glass doors with a cup of coffee. The first thing she saw was the pool, surrounded with erotic flowers, and plastic beach-chairs. A pool like this makes you feel like you're in Malibu. The girl smiled as she watched the sun rise away from the ocean, like it was actually in the water. But enough of painting the scenery. On to business! After a headache of explaining an discreet story to the police, Sally decided to use her hotel pass. Sadly, the room the pass gave her was a suite. Oh no, she wasn't one of the rich snobs that think the suite was beneath her. No, it's because she's not very comfortable in fancy rooms. She preferred the plain and simple rooms; nothing more. The fancy, rich rooms reminded her of...home. But alas, she had to endure. Before she slept, Sally went through the internet, looking through info about Chaos Emeralds. She had Nicole scan every data on them while she slept, so Sally can find the ones that held their locations. And also...she's really tired. Sally was never a morning person, but she had to get up for work. And today was very important, because today could determine the fate of the world. No matter, for as tired as she was, that's what coffee was made for. Also, she came to the pool area to get some air.

Sonic yawned as he got out of the bed he had been sleeping in during the night. After the battle with Chaos, he had been thinking about how Knuckles really was feeling about the whole situation, especially since Chaos came from the Master Emerald. "Well, no sense in worrying about that now." Sonic sighed, as he walked out on the balcony, which was right over the pool area. Sonic never did like water, mainly because he is unable to swim.

"Incoming call, Sally. Rotor, online." "Thank you, Nicole. Put him on." As she paced around the pool, a small holographic screen appeared, showing the purple walrus in a subway train. "Anything, Rotor?" "Sorry, Sally. I couldn't find them. They must be on some personal errand...at least that's what Rosie said." A shame, really. Sally was hoping for her entire team to help her against Chaos. From what she deducted, she's going to need all the help she can get. "Well, it's really appreciated for you to help, at least." "No problem, Sally. I'll get there in about a few. This subway train is just three stops away." "See you till then." And the screen vanished.

Sonic suddenly saw Sally speaking with someone down below. "That's right... she had a pass too. Well, might as well say good morning to her!" Then, he jumped off the balcony, aiming to land on the ground not too far from her, but he overestimated his jump, and accidentally landed in the pool.

"GAAH!!" she screamed, leaping off the ground. Breathing hard for her lost breath, Sally turned to the pool to see what fell in there.

Of course, Sonic is incapable of swimming, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't slowly traverse through the water; as long as he didn't break into a run, he could move. So, he decided to find a ladder to climb up, getting out of the pool, heaving for air. "MAN, I hate water!" Sonic gasped as he got his breath back.

Sally stared at Sonic, puzzled and curious for his reason for falling in the pool. She wondered if it was because they had no high-dive and just used...the balcony as a substitute? But that couldn't make sense, for he just said that he hates water. "Sonic...w-what just happened to you?" was all she can say from the basket of her confused mind.

"Hnh? Oh, good morning, Sally!" Sonic chimed as he got back up on his feet. "I was just going to jump off the balcony so I could say good morning, but then I fell into the pool."

And cue the brow. He almost killed himself in that little stunt just to say hi? Seriously, a simple manner of saying 'hi' didn't require dire actions. Sally couldn't decide wither to be flattered, or very angry. So she planted her fist on her hips (Since the other hand has coffee), with a look that gave an emotion between angry and laughter. Mostly laughter. "Heh...a-and you didn't think of using the stairs or elevator?"

Back inside the hotel in the main lobby, the elevator opens and a woman in a hood steeps out, but was accidently bump into a green bird with a leather jacket. "Oh, I'm heavenly sorry!" The woman said. "Yeah...uh, ok!" The bird said, he was more busy with the weird in his hands as he walks past the woman. It seemed like a mix between a handheld TV with a remote, and it seemed to have speakers on it. Aleena shrugged off figuring what it must be and walked towards the poll area, and smiled when she saw who were out there. "Well, I guess they did use their passes." She said as she opens the door to step out.

"Not really." Sonic shrugged. "It would've taken too long for my taste."

This coming from the guy who's faster than sound? Yeah, that deserved an eye roll. "Oh brother..."But during that eye roll, she spotted Aleena entering the scene, on her left. "Oh...uh, good morning, Ms. Hedgehog." Sally greeted, bowing to her (Perhaps Station Square had some Japanese influences). "Good to see you."

"Good mourning Ms. Acorn, Mr. Hedgehog." Alena said while she bowed as well, "I hope you both enjoyed your stay at the hotel."

Sonic turned around to face Aleena. "Good morning to you too!" he said, bowing in respect, even though he usually just would stand upright and say good morning.

She would be lying if she said 'she did'. Not that she didn't, it's just that the room felt too uncomfortable. But still, Sally wasn't one to speak her mind so much. "Oh, yes it was wonderful. You really shouldn't have, Ms. Hedgehog."
