[dice=5] Talina easily avoided the gas. Taking advantage of her opponent's tiredness, Talina leapt down to the ground. Swiftly, she took the sack. She merely received her pendant and that was all. She entered the inn, as if nothing had happened. Oharu remained where she was, though. Sure, she applauded Talina for being calm and not over-doing the battle, but it was surprising at times, to say the very least.[rand=2509514973686872753310297918229516195332115560038597790158611125]

He stared with wide eyes as the thief seemed to droop with exhaustion on the spot from the young mage's spell, and as the female mage swept down and grabbed the sack, he held onto his sword and was about to step in to stop her from hurting the immobilized thief, though as she merely retrieved her necklace and left, he stopped and frowned, putting the sword away with a shake of his head. He'd never understand teenagers, so reckless. Walking over to the thief, only vaguely noticing the cat from before was present as well, he knelt by the girl and tried to help her to her feet. "Hello? Can you hear me?" he asked softly. No matter if she was a thief, it was unethical to just let her lay there. "How long will the spell last?" he called to the male mage who'd cast it, holding her smaller body against his as support. Not ten minutes into this town and things were already crazy!

Danari sighed, as he walked up to the thief, and took back the bag of money he had given her earlier. "It usually holds people asleep at a maximum of ten minutes, but depending on the amount of gas she inhaled, she could wake up earlier."

Ly looked at the sleeping thief, and then at the building behind him. "C"mon, you're really sleepy!" The moogle said as he grabbed his friend's shirt and started dragging her into the building. "zzzzz...uh?" The girl snored as she was dragged.

Nodding softly as the mage explained to him how long she would be asleep, he was about to ask if he knew of an inn nearby, when the thief was actually dragged out of his hands by the little moogle who had followed them, and towards the building the other mage had entered. Huh. Sighing, he stood to full height and slid his shortsword back to his belt and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm terribly sorry," he said with a sheepish smile to the lad beside him. "What a way to end a day..." he murmured to himself, pulling off his gloves and sticking them in his belt as well, one hand reaching into his pocket to fondle the gem he'd carried with him the entire journey. Now if he could just find somewhere proper to sleep...

Oharu finally followed Talina. At least this madness was over. But they were forgetting something...wasn't it something to do with a stone? She shrugged it off and entered the inn, searching for her friend. Talina walked up to the desk, asking, "Is there a room to stay at for the night?" Her eyes strayed to her right as she saw the moogle dragging her prior opponent. She 'humphed' softly and returned her attention to the front-desk clerk.

Danari waved his hands nervously at the man besides him, whilst uttering "No, no, there's no need to apologize." Then, he sighed, as he turned to look at the building the moogle had dragged the thief into. "But, man, has this day been strange... what else could happen today?" "FREEZE!" Oh crap, he had jinxed himself. Right now, a couple of soldiers were surrounding him and the man, pointing their lances at them. "What the-" "Be silent!" one of the guards said in a brash voice, as he looked over at the inn, nodding his head, which made some other soldiers walk into it. "For assisting a criminal in theft of royal treasures, you are hereby under arrest! You have the right to remain silent, and anything you say can be used against you in court! Now raise your hands where we can see them!" Arrestation?! Hoo boy, this was a strange day indeed; first he encounters three strangers, two of which nearly ended up killing one another, along with a moogle and a cat, and now he's facing arrestation? Sighing, he had no choice but to raise his hands in defeat. Inside the inn, just as the clerk was going to give Talina a room key for the night, six soldiers entered the inn, and quickly surrounded both Talina and the thief, holding their lances close to the girls. "You're under arrest! Come along without making a fuss, or we will take drastic measures!"

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!" "...Sierra not going to like this." Ly sighed as he silently tip-toed away.

Talina looked calmly at the men. "...a fuss? Ha. Dear men, I shall not have myself arrested for no accurate or appointed charges. But I suppose it isn't wise to waste energy on you demented folk of Cornelia. Very well." Oharu was about to follow her friend till a glare from Talina stopped her. She knew what it meant. The cat stepped away slowly, staying out of sight.

He stared in shock at the officers who surrounded him and the black mage, pointing their lancec menacingly at them, accusing them of assisting the little thief in theft of royal treasure. What?! No, this wasn't right! "My good men," he tried, brows furrowed with concern. "This is all a terrible misunderstanding. I can assure you we had nothing to do with any theft!" "Quiet! Hands where we can see them!" one of the bigger men shouted, face hard and cold as he jutted the lance towards them. Alkim backed away from the weapon, complying and raising his hands, defeated and confused. Wasn't the girl about to rob the castle? Had she already done it? Heavens know, if he'd known he would've retrieved her stolen goods! At least they would get a chance to explain to the royal court. They were bound to understand this had all been a misunderstanding... Neither himself nor the two young mages had anything to do with the thief's deeds.

Danari sighed, as he saw the soldiers leading Talina out of the building, and one of them was actually holding the still-asleep Kaito in his arms. "Take them to the prison; they'll need a time-out before court begins. A day or two will prepare them sufficently." the captain said, as the soldiers took the four-man group towards the castle...
